This is my personal opinion:

Vickers forced Jr down. Kinda. Jr had a perfect spot to get in. Vickers blocked him, forcing him below the line. Jr likely went 'oh shit I cant pass under here, better get back up' and then on the way up touched Vickers' back. No fault on Jr, I think he was just trying to get up and didnt think he was as close as he was. In any event, Vickers was wrong. Jr could have maybe let off a bit to make sure they didnt wreck, but when you see it from Jr's on board camera, I cant say I would have done anything different if it were me.

UNFORTUNATE wasnt the word...but, thats Daytona for us.

Yea, that is a hard call with the Vickers incident. Yes, he was just trying to block, any driver would've done that. However, he did it almost too forcefully, which caused Junior to go under the yellow line.

Shit happens; I've seen Ryan do some crazy stuff.

So have I. In the end, hard racing is good racing.

And that's why we love it so!

Yep. And crashes are kinda cool to watch as long as it's not one of your drivers, and no one gets hurt.
