Well, as stated earlier, he is more mature than Joey right now. I'm sure that Junior's keeping Brad on the straight and narrow.

It might. Although, Im worried it might be working too much...does it seem like to you that when hes talking to media, whoever, it seems like hes really stiff? It just seems like he cant laugh or be happy with things...I saw an interview where he got like, 3rd in the race and he was saying it wasnt good....when you are running for a championship and need 1st or 2nd, then yeah, 3rd is a letdown. But, really, would any of us be upset with a 3rd place finish in ANY race???

Psh, even the Cup guys are happy about 3rd-place finishes! That's a very bratty attitude.

I can't remember what Jimmie said verbatim, but he said that his dad said something along the lines of, "That's it, you're parking the truck if you can't behave right when you lose."

I'll bet that Dale Senior must've been somewhere along those lines as well, because Junior's got some manners on him as well! Of course, so do Ryan and Clint.

Clint's dad tells him to smarten up and, basically, get his head out of his ass when hes not acting the way he should!! Haha its funny when he talks about it

the way jr was raised was tough. if you watch the dale movies or 3 (i dont know how much of those are accurate in the home and what happened) but it just seemed to me that dale loved jr, but je was lacking the father/son relationship. it actually made me cry, but then theyd go into how dale sr grew up and it was the exact same way, so that would explain the way he treated jr. i watched a show where jr was talking about it and he said he never was really that close with his dad till about 2000. that killed me b/c that next yr sr died

anyways, i really think jr watched out for brad and teaches him what it takes to be a respected driver. NO BODY likes a driver that whines and throws fits when they dont get their own way.

Wow, that is sad about Junior. I know that Ryan and his dad are close now, but I don't know about his upbringing.

Sometimes I think that Chad gets his raceday psychosis from his dad, because he was also a cc. So I'm sure that's where Chad's smarts come from, I have no doubt about that. The boy got a super-early start!

its ok to be angry sometimes, just dont pull it all the time. yes, jimmie is too blah for my liking, lol. my boy was hilarious on the radio yesterday! i think he was pretty happy the season was over
