Joey is officially driving the #20 Home Depot car next year for gibbs. I can't wait. He is also driving the #02 car for Richmond and maybe Atlanta in cup this year.

Well, Joey got his first taste of Sprint Cup racing. It could've been much worse, and I think that he did very well. Poor Chad M. got bumped into by some dummy, who then caused muh MATT to crash. Grrrr (not Chad's fault though).

i was so proud of joey yesterday. i have to say, i was nervous about him running races in the cup, but the way he ran yesterday, he earned alot of respect i bet. hes a great kid!!! oh, and i just LOVE that new home depot commercail with smoke and joey.....TOO CUTE!!!!!!!

I was a little nervous too, but I also knew that he wasn't going to be right up there in front. It sucked because it was a short track and he slipped behind a lap (just like muh man - damnit).

Yeah, but poor Ryan has a shit for car.....Joey has Gibbs, so I think Ryan has it worse off...till next year!!!!

It must be terribly embarrassing for muh man to be in a car that drives backwards!

Have you heard "Mr. Excitement" (Spence) on RaceDay when he talks about Joey? I have the exact same thoughts as he does!

You're not a fan of Joey's? I think he's good in Nationwide (very good!), and it may take some time for him to fully get his feet in the Cup door, but I'm sure it'll happen sooner than later.

i actually feel alittle bad for joey. it just seems like he's being pushed into all this, but thats just my opinion and i wish the kid the best of luck!
