im alright. how are you?

Not too bad. The weather is HORRIBLE again today (30 cm "a foot" of snow and 4-6 hours of ice pellets that are happening right now) and I was sent home from work at noon in hopes to get home safely.

Other than that, Im not doing too bad.

Still waiting on a 2009 nascar dream, though! HAHA

oh wow, ice is the worst!! tim said arkansas got hit bad last week with an ice storm and power was off for awhile. i want snow, but leave out the damn ice, lol. be careful up there steph!!!

I wonder if we got some of what he had....I dunno where Arkansas is in relation to me, so I dunno

Im safe at home and everyone I know is too, so thats all Im worried about right now, and Ill deal with tomorrow when it comes!!

where are you in canada? like east side or west?

Almost completely east side. On the map, the part that is connected to the rest of Canada but sticks out with the little island on top (PEI) is Nova Scotia. Newfoundland is on the far far east, but we are all out in the ocean

We got a few flurries on the drive home last night but that was about it.

But a foot of snow is WAY outta hand. Good Lord. Are they able to clear the roads well enough for traffic?

Not really. Nova Scotia doesnt budget enough for snow removal each year so, as of this last storm, I think we are over budget. Which means, by all standards, its gonna be worse as the time goes.

Here at work right now, there are small lakes around the doors of the buildings on the sidewalks, and the buses arent even able to drop people off safely because the banks arent cleared. Anyone with mobility problems or elderly people are screwed right now!
