Oh man, Im watching this tornado thing on tv, and its terrifying me that you guys might be in tornado alley...I know TN is and drina youre from there! And all of these bad ones are from Kansas...and it makes me think of Clinty....

Oh great, Im willing to bet cash that any good dreams I was gonna have tonight will be taken out by tornado dreams!

Well, the good thing is that tornado season is over for the most part. Are they talking about them now?

I love those nature shows. The good thing is that you're less likely to get hit if you live in the city, but, yea, TN and GA are prone to them in the spring and summer.

I love watching the shows and would love to chase one with chasers, but Id be terrified to have them happen around home, thats for damn sure.

I think that we had a quick encounter with some sort of funnel cloud in Houston. It was at night and it was pretty stormy outside. Then all of a sudden, there was this LOUD whistling wind, like a train almost, pass overhead. Ron and I nearly jumped out of our skin. A few minutes later I walked outside and all the chairs were overturned and/or thrown all the way to the other side of the pool!

I think that was a tornado!!!
They say it sounds just like a train going by.....AHHH

oh god, i hate tornados! we usually will start getting them in the spring. luckly where i live, we barely get hit (knock on wood) it sux so bad that we are now part of "tornado alley" and i have no basement over in arkansas where tim lives, they get the storms worse. they sometimes die down before they hit us.

Same as Drina - Atlanta rarely gets hit with them; the exception was the one that blew through Downtown a few months ago.

We just get hit with rain and hail.

i remember that one 12, that was terrible!!!! nashville got hit a couple yrs and did some damage downtown. it was huge! last yr there was a subdivision that afterwards it looked like a tornado just played in it. i know when i see those lines of storms on the weather channel, tat we're in for a rough time. i can remember being young and living behind the antioch mall. it was stormy, windy and then all the sudden the wind stoped and it got quiet. i looked up at the sky and the clowds just split down the middle. that was scary! the tornado ended up coming down going directly through the glass ceiling in the mall and bouncing back up. lucly no one was hurt.

OK, now that would scare the shit out of me!

Hmmm, I think Tornado would be a good nickname for a driver. No one has that name, do they?

We dont get them anything near what tornado alley gets....but we did have an F4 a few years ago in Manitoba, and we have had funnel cloud sightings around where I live, but so far, nothing to worry about. Most of them (and it might only be like 2-3 a year) happen in the prairies out west

Did you see on TWIN last night when they had the RCR meeting that Monday after Jeff's win?

Maan, that was stressful for me, and I wasnt there!! Even though Jeff had won, which was the best anyone could do, he still sounded stressed out and they werent real happy, really. And Clinty looked so insane uncomfortable...he was swallowing every 4 seconds...I wanted to throw up for him!

No wonder they dont like those meetings come Monday morning!

That's not good. Why were they so stressed back then? I would understand yesterday's meeting, but even then....

I bet they all hate the Monday meetings. Clint had said once that its not cool when you do bad, cause you get asked by the boss, sponsors, etc., about how you did and why you wrecked, etc.

BUT, lest we forget that when you are making a couple of mill a year, a few shitty meetings shouldnt be that much of a disturbance!!
